Location: Schleswig-Holstein, Germany
This shoot was originally set to take place in spring, however I spontaneously decided to spend Christmas with my family, simultaneously deciding to do two shoots. This was the first of the two, taken on a very cold winter morning, which meant we most of it had to take place indoors. I used an 85mm lens for the entire shoot - my sister’s gift for Christmas.
Clari has a very convincing and sweet smile, and I was very pleased to see she had brought over knee socks to the shoot - a personal favorite. The location we had chosen was my family’s house and garden, where there was a large choice of lighting arrangements and various backgrounds. My favorites out of the indoor series are definitely the shots in which Clari is seated on the pale, flowery armchair in the atrium, which is naturally flooded with light.
Coincidentally my sister had also planned a shoot with Clari that same weekend, which made for a nice topic of conversation, as both were eager to find what the other had done.
